About the role
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced SAP applications Tester to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP data, reports, and business processes within SAP BW (Business Warehouse), S/4HANA, SAC and BOBJ environments. The tester will work closely with business analysts, developers, and functional consultants to validate system enhancements, perform data verification, and support end-to-end testing activities across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP BW and SAP S/4HANA systems.
Validate ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading between SAP S/4HANA and BW.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing of SAP modules and BW reports.
Verify data accuracy and consistency across SAP BW cubes, InfoObjects, and S/4HANA data sources.
Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and system designs.
Perform query testing in BW (Bex or Data sources) to ensure correctness of KPIs and metrics.
Log and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Solution Manager. Follow through to resolution.
Participate in test automation initiatives where applicable
Support Data validation, Business Integration, System Integration and Performance testing during system go-lives and upgrades.
Document test results from legacy and newly developed applications/ systems and provide clear comparison reporting to project management and stakeholders for sign-off.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in SAP testing with strong exposure to SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, BOBJ and SAC (BOBJ and SAC experience is optional)
Proficiency in SAP data structures, data flows, Info Providers, Composite Providers, ADSOs, and CDS Views.
Hands-on experience with SAP testing methodologies, including end-to-end business process testing.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, or similar test management tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
