Senior Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead test execution for end-to-end data migration , ETL , and data transformation processes during SIT. Provide support for UAT , Parallel Runs , and Production deployments . Validate data accuracy , schema mapping , and consistency across source and target systems. Execute performance and regression testing to verify platform scalability and migration stability. Build and maintain automation test scripts where applicable. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers , data engineers , and cloud architects , to resolve issues and optimize system performance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Align testing goals with business and project stakeholders. Provide timely updates on testing progress, defect reports, and risk assessments. Continuously drive improvements in testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Required Skills Qualifications 10+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in data migration projects . Proven expertise in cloud data platforms such as Databricks , BigQuery , Snowflake , Synapse , or Redshift . Familiarity with legacy platforms like Hadoop , Teradata , and SAP BW . Strong hands-on experience with ETL validation , data reconciliation , and performance benchmarking . Proficiency in SQL , Python , and other scripting languages for test automation and data validation. Experience with tools like Selenium , PyTest , JMeter , and data quality tools. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure , GCP ) or testing standards (e.g., ISTQB ). Familiarity with Agile methodologies , JIRA , Confluence , and CI/CD pipelines . Understanding of DataOps practices and modern testing workflows.
