About the role
As a Simulation Engineer specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Combustion, your role will involve designing and delivering high-quality simulations for various projects. You should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in this field and possess a deep understanding of gas dynamics, shock interactions, and aerodynamics. Your expertise in using simulation tools such as ANSYS FLUENT, Chemkin, Star CCM+, and ANSYS CFX will be crucial in delivering top-notch solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deliver high-quality CFD and combustion simulations for various projects. - Function as a solution specialist in Computational Fluid Dynamics using simulation tools such as ANSYS FLUENT, Chemkin & Star CCM+, ANSYS CFX. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of Combustion Modeling mandatory - Knowledge of gas dynamics and shock interactions - mandatory - Knowledge of external aerodynamics mandatory - Basic knowledge of MATLAB for post-processing - 1-2 Years of relevant experience If you possess strong fundamentals in CFD with Ansys Chemkin knowledge, Chemical (or) Aerospace (or) Mechanical background with a solid understanding of Combustion physics, then you have a preferred advantage. Additional preferred skills include expertise in Fluent dynamic and overset meshing, Fluent 6DOF UDFs, Fluent external Aero best practices, pressure-based and density-based solvers applicability, low subsonic to hypersonic flows (0.9 to 5 Mach), adaptive meshing, job submission on a cluster (PBS scripts) & RSMTUI journal utilization for automation of work, and parameterization through space claim and fluent for simultaneous design point runs. Additional Company Details: - Chemical/Aerospace Engineer with a Ph.D. in Combustion modeling would be an ideal fit for this role. - Experience with ANSYS FLUENT/ STAR CCM+ or other commercial CFD software is preferred. - A sound background in Combustion, Computational Fluid Dynamics [CFD], Aerodynamics, & AeroThermodynamics, Scram-jet Engine CFD Modeling, Propulsion, Liquid Propellant Rocket Engine Physics is desirable. - We value an engaging personality, engineering curiosity, and willingness for continuous learning. - Possessing a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills will be beneficial for your success in this role. Joining our team will provide you with a challenging job, performance-driven environment, attractive remuneration package, and opportunities for career progression in an organization experiencing year-on-year growth.
