Site Engineer - Project Application Services

Job Summary: The Site Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving project success at the front end, taking ownership of day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands a proactive leader who can manage people, and coordinate seamlessly with Project Managers, contractors, and customers and other stakeholders, while ensuring strict compliance with Quality, safety and statutory requirements. The Site Engineer will also be responsible for project closure activities, implementing best practices that enhance efficiency and safety. The position requires high mobility and adaptability, as the engineer will be actively engaged across various project sites. Responsibilities: Maintaining the refractory installation quality by following SOP as described in the installation manual including maintaining of all laid down quality documents at site. Timely Execution as per the committed schedule. Preparation of MIS viz Daily progress reports, tracking sheet, material reconciliation in the prescribed format including close coordination with superiors (project coordinators). Inspection of refractory lining along with TPI or competence agencies and make a detailed inspection report. Responsible for material management at stores and sites including correctness of quantity of material received at project sites. Compliance of all statutory requirements at site. Ensure timely submission of contractor bills and customer certifications for monthly billing. Keep the site's Machines in tidy condition including their timely repair and maintenance. Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. Strong problem-solving and deviation handling skills. Excellent coordination and communication with multiple stakeholders. Commitment to workplace safety and statutory compliance. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical /Ceramic Engineering (as relevant). Min 5 years of experience in site engineering or project execution roles. Knowledge of safety protocols and statutory compliances in construction/project execution. Experience in handling contractors, site workers, and customer interactions will be preferred.
