About the role
Role Overview: As a Test Manager at Capgemini, you will lead end-to-end software quality assurance, defining test strategies, managing testing teams, and coordinating UAT to ensure products are fit for release. You will play a crucial role in bridging technical and business teams, identifying risks, and improving testing efficiency across Agile or traditional projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design structured test strategies, plans, and scripts aligned with project scope, risks, and timelines. - Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring effective task allocation and performance management. - Drive test execution, track progress, and ensure timely delivery against milestones. - Define and enforce defect lifecycle processes, ensuring accurate tracking and timely resolution. - Communicate quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to cross-functional stakeholders. - Enhance testing efficiency by optimizing processes, tools, and automation practices. Qualifications Required: - 612 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with proven expertise across test strategy, execution, and delivery. - B2+ (or higher) certification in German, with the ability to collaborate in multilingual environments. - Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring QA teams, driving performance and delivery excellence. - Strong ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of quality metrics, risks, and release readiness.
