Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer

As a Production Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Manage Machine Shop and Assembly operations efficiently to ensure smooth production flow. - Monitor daily production activities and work towards achieving production targets effectively. - Utilize your expertise in VMC, HMC, Turning Centers, Assembly & Testing operations to enhance manufacturing processes. - Handle various machining processes like Broaching, General Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, and Surface Grinding accurately. - Develop production plans and coordinate activities to maintain a consistent production workflow. - Analyze production performance metrics and take necessary corrective actions for process improvement. - Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), shop floor discipline, and standard manufacturing practices. - Assist in CNC programming and process setting tasks to optimize production processes. - Troubleshoot production-related issues promptly and efficiently. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Manufacturing, and KANBAN systems. - Collaborate effectively with Quality, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. In addition to the above responsibilities, the preferred candidate profile should align with the mentioned qualifications and experience in CNC machining processes, production planning, shop floor management, and lean manufacturing practices.
