Quality Test Engineer

Key Skills: Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Selenium with Java, TestNG Framework, Agile QA Practices. Roles & Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and TestNG framework. * Perform manual testing including functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing. * Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. * Identify, log, track, and validate defects using standard defect management tools, ensuring timely closure. * Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across enterprise applications and multiple release cycles. * Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. * Collaborate closely with Japan-based stakeholders for requirement clarification, test execution, defect discussions, and status reporting. * Maintain, enhance, and optimize test automation frameworks while ensuring adherence to QA standards and best practices. * Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in testing processes and proposing enhancements. Experience Required: * 3 - 8 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering. * Strong experience in both manual and automation testing across enterprise-scale applications. * Proven expertise in Selenium automation using Java and TestNG framework. * Experience working in Agile environments with global, cross-cultural teams. * Mandatory JLPT N2 certification (upper-intermediate Japanese language proficiency). * Ability to handle end-to-end testing ownership across multiple applications and releases.
