Mechanical Assembly Fitter/Technician

You will be responsible for assembling special purpose machines, automation systems, jigs, and fixtures as per provided drawings. This includes interpreting mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs to ensure accurate assembly. Your duties will also involve performing machine alignment, leveling, and precision fitting of components like linear guides, ball screws, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, and sensors. Additionally, you will support machine trials, debugging, and commissioning activities, while collaborating with design and electrical teams to address any assembly issues. Ensuring assembly quality, safety standards, and housekeeping will be crucial aspects of your role. You may also need to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning purposes. Qualifications for Assembly Engineer position: - Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering - 1 5 years of experience in automation / SPM machine assembly - Proficiency in understanding machine elements, tolerances, and fits - Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings Qualifications for Assembly Technician position: - ITI (Fitter / Mechanic / Machine Tool) or equivalent - Hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment - Knowledge of basic tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices Preferred skills for both positions include experience in pneumatics, basic hydraulics, and exposure to robot-based automation systems.
