About the role

You will be responsible for assembling special purpose machines, automation systems, jigs, and fixtures according to mechanical drawings and BOMs. Your duties will include machine alignment, precision fitting, and assembling various components such as linear guides, ball screws, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, and sensors. Additionally, you will support machine trials, debugging, and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, safety, and housekeeping standards are maintained. You may need to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning as necessary. Qualifications required for the role of Assembly Engineer: - Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering. - 1 5 years of experience in automation / SPM machine assembly. - Solid understanding of machine elements, tolerances, and fits. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D mechanical drawings. Qualifications required for the role of Assembly Technician: - ITI (Fitter / Mechanic / Machine Tool) or equivalent. - Hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment. - Familiarity with basic tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices. Preferred Skills: - Experience in pneumatics and basic hydraulics. - Exposure to robot-based automation systems is advantageous. - Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.
