Senior Staff Engineer - Design Verification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience in L2 and L3 Protocol Development, Switching/Routing) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and experience in developing scalable Linux-based embedded products. Roles and Responsibility Lead the development of solutions for DataCenter and Enterprise networks on products for Marvell Terlaynx and Prestera packet processors family. Contribute to all phases of software development from requirement gathering through implementation, UT/Functional testing, and maintaining multiple code modules. Demonstrate technical leadership and execute projects across a highly distributed engineering team. Collaborate with various cross-functional groups such as Architect, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, and Customer teams. Mentor and train the team to ensure successful project delivery. Develop innovative, scalable Linux-based embedded products that meet customer needs. Job Requirements Extensive technical depth in L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols. Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and familiarity with Linux operating system. Hands-on experience with switch/router embedded system software development. Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide range of audiences. Proven ability to lead distributed teams and run projects across multiple locations. Working experience in L2 switching/forwarding areas such as LAG, VLAN, xSTP, LLDP, Link OAM, ARP, VxLAN, DC fabric switching, etc. Working experience in L3 unicast/multicast routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IGMP, BGP, ISIS, etc. Familiarity with ACL, QoS, Policers, TCAM, etc. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields; Master's degree and/or PhD preferred.
