Shift Work 24/7 | Polish Language Required We are looking for a Application Operations Engineer / L2 Engineering Specialist to join a team responsible for supporting CSIRE – Poland's central electricity market information system. This is not a traditional Service Desk role . You will work with application incidents generated by the system itself, investigate production issues, reproduce defects, validate fixes, and cooperate closely with development and testing teams. The role is performed in a 24/7 shift model . Evening and night shifts are carried out remotely . The position is hybrid : 2–3 days per week in our office in Warsaw, while other locations work fully remotely. Job responsibilities: • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements and analyze application incidents generated by the CSIRE platform. • Investigate, reproduce, and validate reported issues before escalation. • Identify the source of incidents across different system layers (application, database, infrastructure). • Cooperate with developers, testers, and infrastructure teams during incident resolution. • Support deployments by validating environments and monitoring post-release stability. • Monitor regression testing across multiple environments and verify application behaviour after deployments. • Document findings, maintain operational procedures, and contribute to KEDB / knowledge base. • Participate in release, maintenance, and operational readiness activities. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • Experience in Application Support, Production Support, Application Operations, QA, QA Automation or L2 Engineering. • Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications in production environments. • Ability to reproduce issues, perform structured technical investigation, and identify the root cause of incidents. • Experience preparing and executing manual and automated tests , including regression testing and release validation. • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, PyTest or similar). • Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Bash or similar). • Experience working with ticketing systems and ITIL processes. • Good understanding of Windows and Linux environments (RHEL is a plus). • Ability to analyze application logs and identify the probable source of a problem across application, database or infrastructure layers. • Good understanding of databases and practical SQL skills. • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple incidents, and work across multiple environments simultaneously. • Very good command of Polish (C1) and English (B2+).
