Job Description Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer CASB Job Title: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer Experience: 36 Years Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Bangalore Job Summary We are looking for a DLP Engineer with 36 years of experience in implementing and managing Network DLP, CASB, and Endpoint DLP solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise data protection solutions to prevent data leakage across network, cloud, and endpoint environments. Experience with Netskope or Zscaler is highly desirable. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Network DLP, CASB, and Endpoint DLP solutions to protect sensitive organizational data. Configure and maintain DLP policies to monitor and prevent unauthorized data movement across endpoints, cloud applications, email, and web traffic. Deploy and manage CASB solutions to secure SaaS applications and cloud workloads. Monitor DLP incidents, investigate policy violations, and recommend remediation actions. Fine-tune DLP policies to reduce false positives while ensuring effective data protection. Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to implement enterprise data protection strategies. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of DLP-related issues. Support cloud security initiatives and enforce security policies for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other SaaS platforms. Create operational reports, dashboards, and documentation for DLP events and compliance. Participate in security audits and continuously improve DLP controls and processes. ________________________________________ Required Skills 36 years of experience in Information Security with hands-on expertise in Network DLP, CASB, or Endpoint DLP. Experience implementing and managing enterprise DLP solutions. Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and SaaS application protection. Knowledge of network security protocols, web security, and secure web gateways. Experience with endpoint security technologies and data protection controls. Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA. Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring processes. Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is an advantage. ________________________________________ Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with Netskope or Zscaler DLP/CASB solutions. Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Purview DLP, or Symantec DLP is an added advantage. Knowledge of Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Secure Service Edge (SSE). Experience integrating DLP solutions with SIEM/SOAR platforms.
