Oracle Retail Consultant-AMS

As an experienced Oracle Retail Technical Consultant joining the Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) team, your role will involve supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle Retail solutions across key modules. You will ensure system stability, resolve production issues, and deliver continuous improvements aligned with business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Application Support & Maintenance - Provide ongoing support for Oracle Retail applications to ensure smooth business operations. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within defined SLAs. - Monitor system performance and ensure high availability. - Customization & Configuration - Customize and configure Oracle Retail modules such as RMS, ReSA, and RPM. - Implement business requirements with minimal disruption to existing systems. - System Enhancements & Upgrades - Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. - Collaborate with functional teams to identify improvement opportunities. - Ensure seamless deployment with minimal downtime. - Integration Management - Integrate Oracle Retail applications with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, POS, and eCommerce platforms. - Utilize APIs, web services, and middleware technologies for integrations. - Performance Optimization - Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Optimize system processes for scalability and efficiency. - Technical Leadership - Provide technical guidance to junior team members. - Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with business users, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Qualifications Required: - Experience - 8+ years of experience in Oracle Retail applications. - Minimum 5 years in a technical consulting role focused on AMS/support. - Oracle Retail Expertise - Strong experience in RMS, ReSA, RPM, and related modules. - Good understanding of retail business processes. - Technical Skills - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and XML. - Experience in Oracle Retail configuration, customization, and integration. - Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB). - Exposure to cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud or AWS is an added advantage. - Enterprise Integration - Experience integrating Oracle Retail with ERP, CRM, WMS, POS, and eCommerce systems. - Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
