About the role
Technical Support Engineer provides support and knowledge to internal departments and local end- user customers on VERICUT products. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical support to end- user customers, sales engineers, and marketing partners Instruct VERICUT training classes Travel to and conduct on- site training and consulting at customer sites Assist end- users in maximizing benefits and implementation of VERICUT software Log and track software change requests QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem- solving and troubleshooting skills Motivated self- starter Team- player Enjoys traveling Practical working experience in NC programming CAD/ CAM experience and knowledge Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications Good communication skills In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required: Recent experience with VERICUT, and with building Virtual Machine Configuration Familiar with multiple types of CNC machine tool Practical working CAD/ CAM experience with emphasis on CAM expertise in CATIA, NX, and/ or Pro/ Engineer BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
