About the role
As a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, your role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade BI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and optimize complex BI solutions, including interactive dashboards, reports, ETL processes, and data visualizations. Your responsibilities include: - Integrating and transforming data from diverse sources into centralized data warehouse and data lake environments. - Driving performance tuning, optimization, and scalability improvements for high availability and fast query performance. - Developing and maintaining technical documentation, data models, dictionaries, and user guides. - Providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members. - Collaborating with stakeholders to align BI solutions with organizational goals. - Offering production support during off-hours to ensure business continuity. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong proficiency in Data Analysis, ETL, and Visualization, with deep knowledge of data modeling and optimization. - Experience in BI solution design, relational and multidimensional data modeling, and BI platform administration. - Advanced skills in SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with ETL or Data engineering tools such as Informatica, IBM DataStage, AWS Glue, or equivalent technologies. - Expertise in Visualization Platforms like Amazon QuickSight, Bold BI, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. - Domain knowledge in fraud and risk management, retail payments, banking, or financial services. - Aptitude for learning and implementing emerging BI and data technologies. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with effective communication abilities. - Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team management capabilities.
