About the role
- Lead and manage the Application Development team to ensure stable operations, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of business-critical applications.
- Drive application portfolio management and optimize resource allocation across systems, projects, and team members to improve overall productivity and service quality.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and technical mentorship, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen technical expertise and ownership across key business applications, covering over 20 core systems and multiple business modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, system modernization, and service expansion.
- Manage the full application development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Lead and oversee application-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Manage project priorities, resource planning, and task execution to meet business objectives.
- Manage external vendors and technology partners, including performance monitoring, service delivery, and contract governance.
- Ensure application availability, performance, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and development practices to enhance system scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
