Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a Data Analysis Manager at Cisco Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), you will be responsible for supporting the Data & Analytics organization by working closely with recurring metrics business stakeholders and other data product owners. Your key role will involve analyzing business requirements, developing solutions to compute metrics, and designing data engineering solutions to generate recurring operational metrics in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Work with business stakeholders to understand product capabilities as a data product owner - Collaborate with recurring metrics product team to complete data assessment using SQL from Enterprise Data Foundation (EDF) - Document solutions for building or changing metric computation business rules and policies - Collaborate with the data engineering team to groom proposed solutions - Support on-demand data extracts to meet business needs - Investigate data-related issues reported in Postgres or Teradata environments - Validate data post-solution implementation and approve for deployment Qualifications Required: - BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field - 5 years of experience working with Databases - 5 years of SQL experience - 5 years of experience with XLS or other spreadsheets - Experience with Google Cloud Platform/Postgres and Teradata - Experience with Tableau and other Reporting tools - Experience with creating User Stories and grooming with engineering - Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Process-oriented with excellent documentation skills - Understanding of ETL processes - Understanding of designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems Additional Company Details: Cisco is a global technology company that aims to develop innovative technology and power a more inclusive, digital future for everyone.
