Data Visualization and Analytics Engineer

As a Data Visualization and Analytics Engineer at our company, your role will involve analyzing data and creating dashboards to effectively communicate data stories and derive valuable insights. Responsibilities: - Work closely with Stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze data, and visualize it to achieve business objectives. - Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that present actionable insights to address business questions. - Recommend modifications to data models based on dashboard requirements. - Utilize cutting-edge advanced analytics to drive measurable business outcomes. - Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical techniques and analysis. - Develop end-to-end data infrastructure from data ingest to data analytics. - Ensure that designs align with corporate IT strategy, technical standards, and industry best practices. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field. - 5 years of experience in data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau, with a focus on creating narratives supported by data insights. - 5 years of experience in obtaining data from various data sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. - 1 year of experience with data science and machine learning, including proficiency in Python or R libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn. - Experience with database management tools like Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata, etc. - Exposure to data preparation/blending and ETL tools such as Alteryx, Talend, or Tableau Prep would be advantageous. - Ability to apply an analytic mindset and utilize appropriate techniques to evaluate outcomes. - Proficient writing and presentation skills in English, including the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical audiences.
