Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst

As an Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst at Claidroid Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will be a part of the enterprise data platform team, where you will validate, analyze, and enhance data products. This role goes beyond traditional reporting analysis, requiring you to be proficient in writing complex SQL queries, understanding data architecture, tracing data lineage, and identifying data quality issues. Key Responsibilities: - Assess completeness, correctness, and consistency of foundational and use-case data products. - Write complex SQL queries to explore and validate data across various layers. - Trace data lineage from raw ingestion to consumption datasets. - Identify data gaps, anomalies, and discrepancies. - Validate business logic within transformation layers. - Document findings clearly through structured analyses and data dictionaries. - Collaborate with senior data engineers and solution architects for re-engineering decisions. - Contribute to data governance efforts by profiling datasets and defining data quality rules. - Translate business questions into analytical data models. - Contribute to semantic views, analytical datasets, and reporting assets. Key Requirements: - 58+ years of experience in data analysis or BI engineering. - Expertise in SQL with knowledge of multi-table joins, window functions, CTEs, etc. - Ability to explore unfamiliar datasets effectively. - Experience with large-scale data platforms and Azure Synapse SQL Pool. - Understanding of medallion/lakehouse architecture and data modeling concepts. - Familiarity with CDC, SCD patterns, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Delta Lake format. - Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics environments and BI tools.
