Java Tech Lead Engineer II CloudAngles (Noida)

About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience designing scalable enterprise applications, leading technical teams, and building high-performance backend systems. Exposure to Generative AI, RAG pipelines, LLM integration, or AI-enabled applications is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Microservices. - Lead technical design discussions and create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms. - Architect distributed systems focusing on scalability, resilience, security, and performance. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices. - Optimize application performance, database queries, and cloud infrastructure. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. - Participate in production support, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident management. - Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical roadmap execution. - Evaluate and integrate up-to-date AI capabilities into enterprise applications where applicable. Required Skills Backend Development - Strong experience in Java (11/17/21). - Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. - Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST APIs. - Experience with Apache Kafka or other event-driven messaging systems.
