Techno-Functional Business Analyst

As a Techno-Functional Business Analyst at our Chennai location, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into scalable data solutions. With over 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications and data requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Translate business needs into functional specifications and data requirements. - Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and impact analysis. - Define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs for business users. - Prepare BRD, FRD, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. - Support UAT activities and ensure business sign-off. - Work closely with data engineers and ETL developers on data mapping and transformation logic. - Analyze source systems and define data extraction requirements. - Understand and contribute to data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas). - Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality rules. - Perform data analysis using SQL and support debugging of data issues. - Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in ETL tools such as ODI, Informatica, SSIS. - Strong knowledge of Databases including SQL and MySQL, and data modeling concepts. - Experience in Data Engineering with Azure Cloud is a plus. - Experience in Team Lead (3+ years) or Project Manager roles with expertise in preparing and understanding BRD and ERD. - Domain experience in Banking or Insurance is mandatory.
