As part of our growth journey, CMR is setting up a new Aluminium Ingots and Liquid Aluminium manufacturing plant at Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu, with a total installed capacity of 36,000 MTPA , to be developed in phases.

Position Details Position: FLO – Maintenance Mechanical (South) Designation: Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Job Band: A Reporting To: Maintenance Head Location: Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu Qualification Essential: Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution Desirable: Certification or Diploma in Advanced Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance Experience Essential: 2–7 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance within a manufacturing or process industry Desirable: Experience in Aluminium / Metal / Continuous Process Industry Exposure to Greenfield or Brownfield projects Hands-on experience in erection and commissioning of heavy equipment Deployment Plan The selected candidate will initially be deployed in regular plant maintenance operations to gain familiarity with plant equipment, maintenance systems, SOPs, and organizational practices. Subsequently, the candidate will be assigned to the Shoolagiri project site to support installation, commissioning, operational readiness, and stabilization activities. Job Responsibilities During Project Phase Support mechanical erection, installation, and commissioning of plant equipment Coordinate with Project, Civil, Electrical, and Vendor teams Assist in equipment alignment, trial runs, and performance validation Ensure compliance with mechanical safety standards and quality requirements Support development of maintenance procedures and checklists Monitor progress against project schedules During Plant Operations Execute preventive, predictive, autonomous, and breakdown maintenance Ensure reliability and availability of mechanical equipment Maintain gearboxes, bearings, couplings, rotary equipment, and moving machinery Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime Maintain maintenance records and equipment history Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory norms Functional Skills Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and coordination Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Knowledge of fabrication, erection, and installation as per engineering drawings Experience in alignment and commissioning of heavy rotary equipment Familiarity with furnace pollution control systems and associated mechanical equipment Knowledge of utility systems such as cooling towers, DG sets, compressors, and STP Experience in material handling systems (conveyors, forklifts, loaders, hydra) Ability to read mechanical drawings and layouts Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Tools & Systems MS Office, MS Project ERP systems AutoCAD TPM and Kaizen methodologies Core Competencies Effective Communication Execution Excellence Problem-Solving Ability Result Orientation Team Collaboration Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Learning General Criteria Age: 25–30 years CTC: ₹3.6 LPA – ₹6.8 LPA (Approx.) — Not a constraint for suitable candidates Job Stability: Should not be a frequent job changer Notice Period: Maximum 30 days (Buyout option available if required) Location Shoolagiri Plant: Plot No. 99, SIPCOT Industrial Park, Future Mobility Park Shoolagiri, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu – 635117 Connectivity:
