About the role
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core. - Build secure, high-performance REST APIs and Microservices. - Write clean, maintainable, and productive code following best engineering practices. - Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams. - Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability. - Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality. - Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliable solutions. - Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and engineering improvements. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance (for Senior Engineers and Tech Leads). - Drive ownership of features from design through deployment. Required Skills - 38 years of experience in software development. - Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 6+. - Solid understanding of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture. - Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with Git and version control. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. Good to Have - Experience working on Product Development. - Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. - Experience in eCommerce, Logistics, FinTech, SaaS, or Marketplace platforms. - Understanding of performance optimization and scalable distributed systems. For Senior Engineers & Technical Leads Candidates with 6+ years of experience should have: - Experience leading technical initiatives and designing scalable systems. - Ability to mentor developers and conduct code reviews. - Experience in system architecture and technical decision-making. - Ownership of end-to-end feature delivery. - Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
