Description : Job Summary : Seeking a skilled engineer with strong hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and Azure Cloud services to manage and support our global customer hybrid infrastructure. Key Responsibilities : - Support during USA working hours and provide flexibility for non-business hour outage support as required - Work with OEM vendors for issue resolution and technical support - Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments - Manage VM provisioning, templates, snapshots, cloning, and resource optimization in VMware - Perform VMware cluster operations including vMotion, DRS, HA, and datastore management - Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources including VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, and load balancers - Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and administrative tasks - Ensure system security, patching, backup, and disaster recovery readiness - Manage Active Directory services including DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and File/Print servers - Troubleshoot OS-level issues, performance bottlenecks, and security-related configurations - Manage Azure services including Azure AD, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and monitoring tools - Implement and support hybrid cloud solutions (Azure Arc, Azure AD Connect) - Ensure cloud security and compliance following industry best practices - Manage connectivity between on-premises and Azure environments - Work with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, SCOM, and Nagios - Provide L2/L3 support for escalated incidents and problem resolution - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions - Implement identity and access management (IAM) practices - Apply security baselines for servers (CIS/NIST standards preferred) - Manage MFA, Conditional Access, and encryption policies Required Skills : - Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server and Active Directory - Proficiency in VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS - Hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting - Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and clustering solutions - Good troubleshooting and communication skills - Experience with SAN/NAS storage systems - Experience with backup tools such as Veeam / Commvault or similar - Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, subnets, routing) Preferred Certifications : - Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-303 / AZ-305) - VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Certifications in storage technologies (SAN/NAS) is a plus Education : BE / B.Tech or equivalent technical degree Location : Pune Experience : 4 - 6 Years Description : Job Summary : Seeking a skilled engineer with strong hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and Azure Cloud services to manage and support our global customer hybrid infrastructure.
