ITAM Architect

As a ServiceNow Architect with 8-12+ years of experience and strong ServiceNow expertise, your role will involve designing, governing, and delivering end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM solutions that are in line with business objectives and platform best practices. You will need to showcase hands-on architecture skills, engage stakeholders effectively, and provide leadership in solution design, integrations, data modeling, and platform governance. Key Responsibilities: - Solution Architecture & Design: - Define end-to-end ServiceNow architecture for ITSM and ITAM (HAM & SAM Pro) implementations. - Design scalable, secure, and performance-optimized solutions following ServiceNow best practices and out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities. - Own and update technical design documentation (HLD, LLD, TDD) and architecture decision records. - Promote standardization, reusability, and a platform-first approach. - ITSM Responsibilities: - Architect and oversee core ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management & Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, SLA, OLA, and Performance Analytics. - Develop ITSM workflows in alignment with ITIL v4 best practices. - Lead ITSM enhancements, automation initiatives, and continual service improvement programs. - ITAM Responsibilities: - Architect and implement IT Asset Management solutions including Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). - Manage the asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal. - Define license models, normalization, reconciliation processes, and compliance reporting. - Integrate ITAM with CMDB, ITSM, Discovery tools, SCCM/Intune, and Procurement systems. - Integrations & Automation: - Design and assess integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and spokes. - Architect workflows using Flow Designer, business rules, and event-driven automation. - Ensure integration reliability, performance optimization, and security compliance. - Governance & Quality Assurance: - Enforce platform governance, coding standards, and architectural guardrails. - Review configurations, customizations, and update set strategies. - Support upgrade readiness, regression planning, and release management processes.
