Engineering Lead – Java, Spring Boot, Microservices & Cloud Location: Greater Noida Experience: 10–18 Years Must-Have Skills Java 8+/11/17/21 Spring Boot Microservices AWS Cloud Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) Good to Have React.js Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and lead large-scale backend systems and microservices. Drive cloud-native transformation and modernization initiatives on AWS EKS. Build high-performance REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.x/3.x. Lead Java upgrades and optimize application performance. Implement observability, resilience, and reliability best practices. Partner with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, and platform engineering. Troubleshoot production incidents and drive RCA activities. Mentor teams and ensure engineering excellence across the platform. The ideal candidate will have strong architecture and design experience, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement robust Java-based applications using Java 8+. Architect scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features. Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Mentor developers and drive engineering best practices. Mandatory Skills Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and OOP concepts. Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate. Expertise in RESTful APIs and Web Services. Strong database knowledge (SQL, MySQL, Oracle). Experience with Git and version control systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
