About the role
Role: Test and Debug Engineer Failure Analysis (FA): Determining the exact root cause of field returns (RMA) or production line dropouts and documenting corrective actions. Test Automation: Creating scripts to streamline regression testing, stress tests, and automated test environments. Essential Technical Skillset Measurement Tools: Proficient with Digital Multimeters (DMM), Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers (e.g., for PCIe, I2C, SPI). Software & Scripting: Strong understanding of embedded C, C++, and scripting languages like Python or Perl for test automation. Diagnostics: Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, board views, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Soldering & Rework: Hands-on experience with hot-air rework stations, handling fine-pitch SMD components (BGA, QFN, QFP) safely.
