About the role
As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (Network) at our organization, your role will be crucial in ensuring the resilience, security, and high performance of our network platforms. You will act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) across enterprise network services, supporting office, data centre, and hybrid cloud networking environments. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a technical SME for network infrastructure, including office/campus networks, data centre networking, and hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure, GCP). - Design, implement, and support secure, scalable network solutions across LAN, WAN, Data Centre, and Cloud. - Own and optimize Cisco-based network platforms, including routing and switching, Cisco ACI, and policy-driven segmentation. - Support and manage F5 Load Balancing Platforms, including LTM configuration and optimization, traffic management, and high availability design. - Deliver secure-by-design network architecture, including network segmentation, zero trust principles, and alignment to enterprise security controls. - Design and support hybrid networking solutions, including connectivity to Azure and GCP, VPN, and private connectivity models. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and performance issues across multi-layer environments. - Drive network automation and standardization to improve operational efficiency. - Produce and maintain high-quality network documentation, including high-level and low-level designs, network diagrams, and operational procedures. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, data centre networking, and F5 load balancing platforms. - Knowledge of network segmentation, routing and switching protocols, layer 47 load balancing concepts, and high availability design. - Proven ability to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale network environments. - Strong troubleshooting experience across LAN, WAN, data centre fabric, and hybrid cloud connectivity. Additional Company Details: - Recognized as a network SME within the team with the ability to lead complex technical delivery independently. - Strong understanding of secure-by-design networking, network segmentation strategies, high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance. - Ownership & Accountability, Technical Leadership, Security Focus, Collaboration, Communication, and Continuous Improvement are key behavioral & professional skills required. - Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Cisco (CCNP / CCIE), F5 certifications, Cloud networking certifications (Azure / GCP), and exposure to network automation tools and container networking.
