About the role
Role Overview: As an Associate Data Analyst at Comscore, your primary responsibility will be to extract, transform, and analyze data to find insights and answer questions about the content of the data. You will perform analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to provide key insights to both internal and external clients. Additionally, you will support the sales function by offering data expertise, conducting feasibility reviews, and providing detailed analysis of queries raised by stakeholders. Your role will involve creating and maintaining internal and external user interface and reporting tools across all Comscore product areas, including digital, mobile, OTT, and TV. Key Responsibilities: - Extract, transform, and analyze data - Own discrete research tasks - Interpret data and report key findings to internal and external clients - Assist in automating and streamlining custom work using ETL software and database query tools - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues - Perform quality assurance checks on custom work created by the team - Troubleshoot data collection issues - Write complex SQL queries - Manage established and reoccurring custom analysis projects - Document report production and quality control processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field - 1-3 years of professional experience - Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SQL), relational databases, and the MS Office Suite - Experience in analyzing data sets - Strong analytical, statistical, and quantitative skills Additional Details: This role at Comscore will be foundational within the Pune-based GL team during a period of significant growth for the company.
