About the role
Responsibilities: Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans based on project specifications and requirements. Collaborate with the development team to understand system architecture and design. Test Case Design: Create comprehensive and well-structured manual test cases. Identify and document test scenarios to ensure adequate coverage. Test Execution: Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality and performance. Record and document test results, and compare them to expected outcomes. Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality-related aspects. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans and test cases. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role. Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and best practices. Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively convey testing results and collaborate with team members.
