About the role
Develop and finalize packaging materials (primary & secondary) for new and existing products. Coordinate with vendors for development of packing materials like cartons, foils, labels, inserts, and shippers. Prepare and review packaging specifications, artworks, and BOMs. Conduct compatibility and stability studies for packaging materials. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., WHO, USFDA, EU guidelines). Handle change control, deviations, and CAPA related to packaging. Support technology transfer and exhibit batches. Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory Affairs for smooth execution. Vendor qualification and performance monitoring. Cost optimization and alternative vendor/material development. Qualifications & Experience: Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Packaging Science preferred) Experience: 2–5 years in pharmaceutical packaging development
