SENIOR MANAGER

Job Title: Senior Manager – Engineering & Projects (Electrical) Department: Engineering & Projects Location: OSD Manufacturing Plant Role Purpose To lead electrical engineering, utilities, and project execution for OSD manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, timelines, and cost while supporting capacity expansion and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Engineering & Electrical Operations Head electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, HVAC electricals, BMS, and utilities. Ensure uninterrupted power supply and statutory compliance (Electrical Inspectorate, CEA, Factory Act). Develop preventive & breakdown maintenance plans for all electrical assets. Projects & Expansion Lead electrical scope for greenfield/brownfield OSD projects, new blocks, and capacity expansion. Manage design, BOQ finalization, vendor selection, execution, and commissioning. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HVAC, QA, and production teams for seamless project delivery. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to GMP, EHS, electrical safety standards, and audit readiness (USFDA, WHO, MHRA). Prepare and review engineering documentation, SOPs, validation support (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ). Utilities & Energy Management Drive energy optimization initiatives and cost-reduction projects. Monitor power consumption, load balancing, and energy audits. Vendor & Team Management Manage contractors, AMC vendors, and service providers. Lead, mentor, and develop electrical and project engineering teams. Qualifications & Experience BE/BTech – Electrical Engineering (Mandatory) 15–20 years of experience in pharmaceutical OSD manufacturing plants Strong exposure to GMP projects, utilities, and electrical systems Experience in USFDA-approved plants preferred Key Skills Electrical project execution Utilities & power management GMP & regulatory compliance Vendor negotiation & cost control Leadership & cross-functional coordination Reporting To: Head – Engineering / Plant Head
