Role Overview: You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of data warehouse databases. Your duties will include performance tuning of ETL processes and SQL statements to ensure optimal load times and report execution. Additionally, you will be managing the BI application YellowFin, its Postgres database repository, and the EPM application. Key Responsibilities: - Tune SQL statements to optimize load times and report execution. - Perform database and application backups. - Provide support for internal development databases. - Design, deploy, and maintain data schema. - Monitor the data warehouse daily. - Perform performance tuning of the Application DBA. - Ensure a stable, reliable, and credible data warehouse environment. - Maintain the complete DW infrastructure, including the DB, Yellowfin app, and EPM app. - Automate code for managing a high volume of instances. - Document processes, environments, and run books.
