Job Description: API Developer (Spring Boot) Contract Duration : 1 Year Location : Chennai Experience : 6-9 Years Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced API Developer with expertise in Spring Boot to join our team for a one-year contract. The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in API development, and a deep understanding of Spring Boot framework to design and build robust, scalable APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications. Implement best practices in API development and ensure the APIs are well-documented. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize API performance and fix any issues that arise. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Ensure timely delivery of projects in an agile development environment. Required Skills & Qualifications : Strong experience in API development using Spring Boot . Proficiency in Java programming language. Hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance RESTful services. Familiarity with database management and design (SQL, NoSQL). Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices for REST APIs. Experience with Swagger or similar API documentation tools. Good understanding of version control systems like Git . Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications : Familiarity with microservices architecture. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices. Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days.
