About the role
Job Title: ServiceNow OMT-Architect Role Description: An OMT-Architect (Operations Management Tool Architect) in ServiceNow would be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and configuration of various operational management tools and modules within the ServiceNow platform. The individual in this role focuses on optimizing IT operations, incident management, problem management, change management, and more. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design: Design and architect solutions within the ServiceNow platform specifically tailored to Operations Management, ensuring that the solution meets business requirements. Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow OMT modules (e.g., Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, etc.) for clients. Integration: Oversee integrations with other platforms, tools, or IT systems, ensuring seamless data flow between ServiceNow and other operational management systems. Customization: Customize workflows, forms, and user interfaces within the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements, ensuring operational efficiency. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, assess, and optimize the performance of the deployed ServiceNow OMT solution, ensuring that it meets the desired operational goals. Best Practices and Governance: Ensure best practices are followed in development, configuration, and implementation. Maintain proper governance for ServiceNow environments. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly interact with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure that the solution is meeting operational goals. Documentation & Training: Provide detailed documentation of architecture, configurations, and customizations. Conduct training sessions for end-users and other stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: ServiceNow Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow and its OMT capabilities. ITSM Knowledge: Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices (incident, change, and problem management). Architectural Design: Experience designing and architecting solutions at an enterprise level. Integration Skills: Ability to integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and platforms. Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow in an architect or lead role. Certifications: ServiceNow certifications such as Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) are preferred. Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills, along with the ability to communicate complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Key Tools and Technologies: ServiceNow Platform: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, etc. Web Services: SOAP, REST APIs for integration. Automation Tools: Orchestration, Cloud Management. Databases & Scripting: JavaScript, SQL, and basic knowledge of databases for integration and development tasks. Desired Soft Skills: Problem-solving and critical-thinking ability. Strong collaboration skills, working with teams and clients. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
