Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect Location - Remote in India; must have some overlap with U.S. time zones Role Type - 1-year contract Must Have Skills: Senior-level cybersecurity architecture experience; Tier 3, not L1/L2 Cloud security architecture experience, especially Azure security Experience deploying native Azure security tools to address cloud development threats Application security program experience, including threat modeling, OWASP risks, mitigations, and software architecture patterns Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority Responsibilities and Job Details: Support enterprise security architecture, control governance, cloud/platform security, and risk/compliance alignment Provide strategic architecture guidance and advisory support across security, cloud, engineering, infrastructure, GRC, procurement, and vendor management teams Lead and support security design reviews for cloud, platform, and application environments Review software packages for vulnerabilities and cybersecurity compliance Support audits, assessments, and cybersecurity risk reviews Apply risk-based decision making and system-level thinking to security architecture recommendations Help shape and mature application security practices and program standards Advise on threat modeling, secure software architecture patterns, OWASP risks, and practical mitigations Balance security rigor with business enablement Communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Mentor junior architects and security engineers
