Database Admin

Responsibilities: Maintain the security posture of the database.Set and maintain database standards.Manage database access.Performance tuning of database systems.Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.Create and manage database reports, visualisations, and dashboards.Create automation for repeating database tasks.Be available for on-call support as needed. Requirements: Good understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL Architecture.Understanding of installing and administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL Server databases.Must have hands-on experience in Linux.Understanding of tuning and optimising PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL Server databases.Understanding of query execution and optimization.Good to have an understanding of DB cluster setup for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL.Understanding logical replication setup and change data capture.Good to have experience with any CDC tool setup in a streaming environment.Good to have an understanding of AWS, RDS, and Aurora.Understanding of database backups and recovery.Knowing Data Warehouse is a plus.Good communication skills.Experience working in teams.
