CAD Designer

Role Overview We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented CAD Designer . The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, supporting design development, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met. Fresh graduates with strong CAD skills and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities CAD Design & Drafting Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, floor plans, elevations, and fabrication drawings using CAD software. Develop 3D models and visualizations based on project requirements. Modify and update drawings as per design revisions and client feedback. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications. Design Development Assist in preparing design concepts and detailed layouts. Convert sketches, concepts, and engineering inputs into detailed CAD drawings. Support the Design and Engineering teams in developing innovative and practical solutions. Optimize designs for functionality, manufacturability, and project requirements. Project Coordination Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Production teams. Participate in design review meetings and implement approved changes. Ensure timely completion of assigned design tasks. Provide technical support during project execution when required. Documentation & Drawing Management Maintain accurate drawing revisions and version control. Organize and update CAD files, project documents, and design records. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), layouts, and technical documentation where required. Ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Quality & Compliance Verify drawing accuracy before release. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, company guidelines, and safety requirements. Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies in coordination with the project team. Required Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is mandatory. Knowledge of SolidWorks, SketchUp, Revit, Inventor, Creo, or Fusion 360 will be an added advantage. Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and drafting standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Product Design, or a related field. Freshers with strong CAD knowledge are welcome to apply.
