Role Overview: You have been selected for the Graduate Engineer Trainee Program in Mechanical Engineering at CT Automotive. This program is a structured learning journey aimed at developing the next generation of engineers at the company. The program involves a combination of corporate orientation, overseas training, and final placement in one of CT Automotive's global sites based on performance and business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Plastic Injection Molding: You will be responsible for tasks such as machine setup, parameters adjustment, mold change, defect troubleshooting, and cycle-time optimization. - Production: Your role will involve activities like line balancing, OEE monitoring, TPM basics, safety protocols implementation, shift management, and daily Gemba. - Assembly Painting: You will handle paint process fundamentals, booth/oven parameters, adhesion/finish quality, and rework reduction. - Quality Assurance: Your responsibilities will include understanding IATF/VDA basics, PPAP/APQP processes, MSA/SPC techniques, in-process & final inspection, and customer complaint analysis (8D). - Supply Chain Management: Tasks will include material planning (PMC), scheduling, inventory control, supplier follow-ups, and logistics coordination. - Engineering Project Management: You will be involved in APQP gateway tracking, maintaining timeline/risk logs, change management, and customer interface. Qualification Required: - You should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Excellent communication skills are essential. - Proficiency in advanced excel, Lean Manufacturing, cross-functional coordination, and team building is required. Additional Details: The position is based in Puebla, Mexico, and candidates who have studied or worked abroad, preferably in the US or the UK, and are willing to relocate to Mexico for long-term career growth are preferred. Experience in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
