JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hybrid 3 days a week onsite.

Major Accountabilities:

• Perform system business analysis and produce business requirement and functional requirement documents for the SL platforms within Prime Services

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and clarify issues, enhancement requests and other tasks

• Work closely with the Development and support teams in making sure they understand the requirements and provide solutions to any issues

• Perform unit testing, assist users with UAT testing and obtain signoffs

• Aid in the implementation of the approved changes into Production by adhering to the change release management procedures

• Provide warranty coverage for new releases and create handover documentation and training for system support team to take over support

• Track enhancement requests and production fixes in JIRA

• Provide weekly status updates to management

• Face off with stakeholders in regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings as required

• Have a technical background to be able to expedite ad hoc requests and proof of concept tasks as required

Education/Work Experience/Designations

Bachelor of Science degree or higher

7 years minimum relevant working experience in Capital Markets; preferably in a Prime Services, or Securities Lending BA role:

• Experience with requirements gathering and writing detailed business requirements (BRD) and functional requirements (FRD) documents

• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)

• Track record for successfully delivering complex multi-month/month-year projects

• Business Analyst w/ experience in Stock Borrow Loan, Equities and Prime Services business areas

• Experience working with Front Office facing projects strongly preferred

• Experience with Equilend NGT related projects (Auto-borrow and Auto-loan) strongly preferred

• Experience with SQL and writing queries

• Experience with Inventory Management is a plus

• Experience writing code/prototyping a plus

• Application Support experience a plus (troubleshooting issues is a very common task for BA)
