Position – Lead network engineer

Visas – USC only

Duration – 24+ Months Contract

Location – On Site (Irvine, CA)

Cuboid is looking for Lead network engineer Consultants for a 24+ month project located in Hybrid – Local To Irvine, CA Required. .

Experience: 10 years

Top Must Have’s:

• Demonstrated ability to oversee large projects

• This candidate will oversee entire network expansion project. He will not need to be hands on but must have strong problem solving skills and be able to offer solutions to the management team and be an extension of the Director overseeing the project.

Reason Open: New expansion project Team Info: This candidate will oversee the entire network expansion project and will work with both Hoag employees and contractors.

Customer Interview Process: 2 rounds with customer

Required Skills

Proficiency with the design, implementation, and configuration of Cisco networking technologies inclusive of data Center switching, access layer switching, and Access and Identity tools such as Cisco Client.

Current Enterprise Cisco Catalyst switches; Cisco ISR/Catalyst routers; Switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP); TCP/IP; DNS; VLANs; VPNs; QoS; VXLAN; Underlay and Overlay networks; IPSEC; RADIUS; two-factor and single sign-on authentication.

Extensive experience in initiating and leading consultative network projects & initiatives

Excellent consultative skills in addressing networking and security challenges.

Strong project management skills (scope, schedule, & cost)

Excellent written, presentation, whiteboarding, and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

Excellent situational leadership and timely decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization (internally & externally)

Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.

Must be results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.

Attention to detail and follow-up skills are critical.

Strong trusted advisor, coaching, & mentorship skills

Preferred Skills:

Minimum 5+ years' experience in consulting services

Cisco (Nexus, Catalyst, Client, wireless)

AWS / Azure / Network & Security Knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Technical degree, or related work experience (Network Engineering / Computer Science)

• Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility

• Minimum 5 years of experience consulting, designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco Networking technologies.

• Preferred Certifications :

• Cisco - CCNP or CCIE
