About the role
Role Overview: As a Full Stack Developer, your main purpose will be to design, develop, and enhance software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. You will take part in the transformation of the digital ecosystem in the Mortgages domain, focusing on innovation and excellence in promoting unparalleled customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Stay updated on industry technology trends, contribute to technology communities, and promote a culture of technical excellence. - Adhere to secure coding practices, implement effective unit testing, and ensure code scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization. - Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers in large delivery teams. - Possess hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, microservices architecture, frontend technologies like Angular or React Native, and database management. Qualifications Required: - Extensive hands-on experience in Java (JDK 17+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and building highly scalable, secure backend systems for financial applications. - Strong expertise in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and service-to-service integration in highvolume transactional environments. - Proven experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React Native, along with HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). - Solid understanding of endtoend full stack development, including frontendbackend integration and asynchronous communication patterns. - Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases, focusing on data integrity and performance. - Strong knowledge of security standards and practices including OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding guidelines. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloudnative architectures. - Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, build tools (Maven, Gradle), version control systems (Git), and enterprise development workflows. - Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical solutions to business and senior stakeholders. - Banking domain knowledge such as payments, lending/mortgages, customer onboarding, or core banking systems is advantageous.
