Educational Qualification Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field. Practical experience or projects involving Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ability to solve technical challenges and design effective cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities As an GCP Developer, you will be responsible for migration to Google Data Cloud or implementing data solutions using Google Data Cloud services. Designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform. Implementing best practices for cloud architecture, continuous integration, and deployment. Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on GCP. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud-based applications. They are responsible for designing the solution architecture on GCP. GCP Developers are responsible for representing their products in client meetings. They need to work on the GCP architecture according to the needs and requirements of their company. They also have to work with GCS (Google Cloud SQL) for handling the user data or client data. A GCP developer creates, executes, and oversees a company s Google Cloud initiatives. Directly support the use and delivery of cloud services in the organization; Be a thought leader by staying abreast of current and emerging cloud technologies and industry trends; Directly support the sales team on pre-sales client calls. Key Skills Required Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP services i.e., DataProc Cloud Storage, Compute Enginge, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Composer, Big Query, etc. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and familiarity with cloud-native languages like Go or Node.js. Understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. Experience with DevOps practices, automation tools, and implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Knowledge of security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance standards on GCP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Cloud computing, web development and data management Must possess exceptional coding skills Must be comfortable in collaborating and communicating with others Possesses container knowledge Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and CLI Cloud security knowledge Scripting skills
