iOS Principal Engineer (Hyderabad)

Summary : We are looking for an experienced iOS Principal Engineer with a robust technical background and expertise in building high-performance video streaming applications for iOS Mobile and Apple TV platforms. As a technical leader, you will take ownership of designing and developing scalable, user-centric applications while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence.This role requires a deep understanding of iOS frameworks, exceptional coding skills, and hands-on experience with video streaming technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and engaging video experiences to users. You will lead cutting-edge projects and shape the technical roadmap for iOS development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design & Development Architect and develop advanced video streaming applications for iOS Mobile and Apple TV platforms. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in Swift, following best practices. Optimize app performance for responsiveness, scalability, and resource efficiency. 2. Technical Leadership Lead the design and implementation of complex features, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with project goals. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security. Stay updated with the latest iOS technologies and video streaming advancements, integrating them into projects where applicable. 3. Collaboration Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with QA to ensure that delivered features meet functional and non-functional requirements. 4. Video Streaming Expertise Implement and optimize video streaming technologies such as HLS, DASH, and DRM. Integrate and customize video playback frameworks like AVFoundation and third-party players.
