Principal Architect Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform

As a highly experienced Principal Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale customer engagement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and Azure technologies. Your role will involve providing strategic architecture leadership across digital transformation initiatives and collaborating with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to define scalable, secure, and AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Define enterprise and solution architecture strategies for customer engagement platforms. - Lead end-to-end architecture design across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. - Establish architecture standards, governance processes, and best practices. - Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles. - Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, compliance, and performance requirements. - Act as Design Authority for strategic programs, providing solution assurance and architecture governance. Dynamics 365 & Power Platform: - Architect solutions across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Contact Center, and Field Service. - Lead solution design leveraging Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI. - Define platform governance, ALM strategy, security models, and environment management approaches. - Provide guidance on integrations, customizations, and extensibility. - Define integration architectures using Azure Integration Services, APIs, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration frameworks. - Architect omnichannel customer engagement solutions including Dynamics 365 Contact Center and AI-powered customer service capabilities. AI & Copilot Strategy: - Define adoption strategies for Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Agents, and Microsoft AI capabilities. - Identify opportunities for automation, intelligence, and business process optimization. - Establish AI governance and responsible AI practices. Presales & Solution Advisory: - Lead solution architecture activities for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, customer proposals, and strategic pursuits. - Support opportunity qualification, discovery workshops, and solution envisioning sessions. - Develop high-level solution designs, effort estimates, implementation approaches, and delivery roadmaps. - Present solution strategies and architecture recommendations to customers and executive stakeholders. Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership: - Partner with business leaders, product owners, project teams, and executive sponsors. - Mentor architects, consultants, and technical teams. - Support successful project delivery through architecture governance and oversight. - Drive alignment between business objectives and technology investments. Required Experience: - 15+ years of overall experience in enterprise applications, consulting, or solution architecture. - 12+ years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions. - Strong experience with Power Platform architecture and governance. - Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture governance, and technical leadership. - Experience leading presales activities, including RFP/RFI responses, solution estimation, and customer presentations. - Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
