As a Senior Python Developer with 6+ years of experience in Kochi, your role will involve leading the backend development of a high-performance auction platform. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable REST APIs, implementing real-time bidding mechanisms, and ensuring robust database architecture using PostgreSQL. Your expertise in Django and real-time application development will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django. - Architect and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs. - Develop and maintain real-time bidding features using WebSockets. - Optimize system performance to handle high concurrency during live auctions. - Design efficient database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL. - Ensure transactional integrity and data consistency. - Implement caching and performance optimization strategies. - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams. - Lead code reviews and enforce best practices. - Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system reliability.
