Oracle\/Java Support Engineer

Act as a one point of contact for all support related activity for assigned system(s) The role also includes effective management of vendor and deployment of enhancements. Perform Scheduled and On-Demand Technical Administrative tasks on assigned systems e.g. (scripting, patch deployment, backup, rollback, user management (list is indicative and not limited to activities as mentioned) Ensure all products maintain info sec standards & adhere to the process. Escalate/obtain prior approvals for any process deviations Reduce Major technology errors that may lead to business impact by educating the importance / awareness Optimize platform resource utilization Report and escalate to management as needed Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Ensure the SLA s are achieved & KPIs are adhered to; data sanity and hygiene & client expectations are exceeded The role requires mature written & verbal communication skills
