Data Warehouse Lead Developer

Role: Data Warehouse Lead Developer Experience: 6 to 8 years Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views. Optimize SQL queries and database performance (indexing, execution plans, tuning). Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting requirements. Work closely with applications, BI, and data teams to understand data needs. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Troubleshooting and resolving job failures or alert triggers Support production issues and perform root cause analysis. Work independently and collaborate with business, BI, and reporting teams. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehousing concepts and architecture. Strong knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers Handson experience with SQL Server Jobs for scheduling and automation Ability to configure and manage Alerts & Notifications for proactive monitoring Design, develop, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions. Design star/snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables. Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization. Support data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems. Expertise in writing complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions. Experience in performance tuning and query optimization. Good understanding of relational database design and normalization. Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing basics. Experience with cloud data platforms Good to Have: Experience with Power BI and semantic models. Experience in performance optimization and large data volumes. Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines. Experience working in client-facing or onsiteoffshore models. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. .
