Project Engineer (US Construction / Project Engineering)

Job Title: Project Engineer (US Construction / Project Engineering) Location: Gurugram, Haryana (100% work from office) Experience: 5 to 8 years Employment Type: Full Time Salary: INR 10 to 15 LPA Notice Period: 30 days or less (immediate joiners preferred) Work Model: On-site, daily coordination with US teams About the Role We are building a world-class Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Gurugram that supports one of the largest construction programs in the United States. This is not a CAD or Revit production role. Your work starts after LOD 300, where you move from modeling into strategic project engineering and solve live construction challenges that directly affect project profitability and schedule. You will work directly with US general contractors and project managers, gaining deep exposure to American construction practices, project engineering discipline, and VDC strategy. This role is a launchpad into senior VDC leadership. What You Will Do Manage core project engineering tasks: submittals, change orders, RFIs, 2D overlays, quantity take-offs, and estimation Join daily coordination calls with US project managers and provide status updates on assigned tasks Support project managers on initial estimating efforts (hours and resources) for new projects Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications with accuracy Maintain strong QA/QC standards across projects Own document management workflows and tools Build and lead training sessions for your team and trade partners Maintain strong working relationships across India and US entities Must-Haves 5 to 8 years of construction execution or project engineering experience (not BIM/Revit production) Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline Hands-on experience with at least two of: submittals, change orders, RFIs, quantity take-offs, estimation, project coordination Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication (daily US team interaction) Background as an Engineer, Architect, or Construction Professional across Structural, Architectural, or MEPFP disciplines Comfortable with 100% work from office in Gurugram Software Exposure (one or more): Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Revizto, or estimation software Nice to Have International project exposure and direct client handling experience Experience working with or for US general contractors
