About the role
As the Head - IT Infrastructure, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and manage the IT infrastructure of the company to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. You will need to act as a strategic leader to drive technology transformation, optimize IT operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the BFSI sector. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the entire IT infrastructure, including networking, data centers, cloud services, servers, and end-user computing. - Develop and implement IT policies, processes, and best practices to ensure system reliability and security. - Evaluate and integrate cloud and hybrid solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability and cost efficiency. - Ensure IT security, data protection, and cybersecurity compliance with RBI, SEBI, and other BFSI regulatory guidelines. - Implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP). - Regularly audit systems and applications to maintain security standards. - Lead IT operations, ensuring 99.9% uptime for business-critical applications and services. - Optimize IT service management (ITSM) processes and implement automation for efficiency. - Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and solutions. - Lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Work closely with business stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with business goals. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in BFSI or Housing Finance/NBFCs. - Expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, virtualization, and ITIL frameworks. - Strong knowledge of firewalls, cybersecurity, endpoint security, and data protection strategies. - Experience in regulatory compliance and IT audits in the BFSI sector. - Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and vendors. Preferred Certifications: - ITIL v4, AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications, CISSP, CISM, CCNA, PMP (Preferred but not mandatory).
